Just watching working lunch on BBC 2 and they featured this today!  What a great idea for young people don't you think?  The competiton runs from today until 23rd February 2007 - just 1 month for 10,000 students from UK schools/colleges to made an impact with just a £10 note!

I want to prove that they're far from being the worst in Europe, with the right encouragement they have the potential to be the best.

"That’s why I thought it was time an entrepreneur like me put their money where their mouth is, to allow young people to prove that they’re not all a bunch of violent hoodies, but dynamic and enterprising young people when given the chance who just happen to be young. And this is just the beginning - I’d like to see other entrepreneurs do the same. With £100,000 this year, why not a million next time!”

Do you want me to put your Etsy shop or online shops or flickr on my sidebar?

I'm currently updating my blog (yet again! -its having a tablet pc and wireless connection thats done it - My husband is regretting it! lol)

I am trying to set up some esty links etc belonging to the bloggers on my blogroll!   I started well by adding Ellia at greenbeenbaby to flickr along with kristy at vintage pleasure.  I then sucessfully set Angie at northreads up under the online shop heading.

I then realised that this was going to be a long drawn out process so like Julia at weirdbunnny (recently she has also been busy updating her sidebar), I thought I would ask any of you out there to let me have links to your etsy, online shop or flickr if you would like to be included on my little space on the internet.

If you haven't visited before but want to be included that's fine too!

ps. The pictures on my last post were taken at a local reservoir.  Even us city girls get a bit of fresh air occasionally!  Amazing to think that a reservoir could be so pretty eh? Obviously I didn't post pictures of the great big concrete filtering machines - that would have ruined the illusion for you :) lindsey x
