Yippee! the new series of Spooks started tonight and I get to go and watch the second episode in a few minutes - how exciting :) I know a lot of you bloggers are into the wonderful world of Mr Darcy and the waltons etc but I just love this series. The main characters are Harry, Adam, Ruth, Ros and Zafar. My favorite character is Adam (played by Rupert Penry-Jones). I think this possibly because my son is called Rupert? I love the way they shoot the programme and edit the clips, the music, locations etc (that's the ex media student in me coming out there - sorry).
Rupert Penry-Jones plays Adam Carter and he says (quoted from the bbc spooks link above) ...
"For Adam, I certainly wouldn't say things are easier for him this series! We really start to see the impact that Fiona's death has had on him and how it affects his work.
He's having to hide the fact that he's cracking up – especially from Harry. He's having horrible flashbacks to Fiona's death and having a really hard time dealing with his job and the fact that he's on the verge of a nervous breakdown."
So cheerio, I'm off to get Alex to make me a lovely cup of tea and get me a cosy blanket so I can curl up and preview episode two.
Hope you have all had a lovely weekend. Our's has gone so quick. I'm excited though as we bought a new bathroom suite this weekend. It will have the toilet and sink fitted in cupboards etc. I will post about this another day through!
Alex is shouting 'she can't feel her legs, the car door hit her. Quick its back on!' - bye x
I was far too tired to watch the 2nd bit! taht and the fact that I was still calming down from wanting to get in the screen and pull the hair of that blonde that was mesing with adam! Can you tell that I don't REALLY watch it! I was knitting with the most bizarre yarn I have ever used and so spent a lot of time looking at the needles but yelling at the telly!
Spooks is a bit gloomy for me, but dh likes it and the adam character is a delight to watch! Might even have to find him as computer wallpaper this week!

Bill was with you on this, he just loves spooks and really enjoyed sitting in the dark with his new little puppy on his lap, I left him to it and looked for weekends away this coming weekend, we are off to Llandudno I think.

I have only just got into spooks, I started watching it last week for the first time, I thought it was a drama film as it had already began, and sat down hooked until the end. I watched it again this week, and think it might be my new tv programme, for the autumn, I dont watch anything else (except spaced on dvd with dh). I am still trying to work out who is good and who is bad though !!
