This is Zachariah's little brown stone. It is called the "Lady Bean". We knock it on the side of the doorframe to get in and out of the kitchen. We have spent a few days doing this - holding the little "lady bean" in our fingers, knocking 3 times to enter or leave the kitchen.
The "lady bean" has spent it's days resting on the top step of the kitchen step ladders sunbathing in the beautiful sunshine. Sometimes the "lady bean" has gone for a little stroll in the sand pit or nipped up stairs to the toilet. Sometimes the "lady bean" has been seen rolling around the coffee table watching Nick Jnr, cbeebies or the news. However, as soon the "lady bean" has been needed, it hasn't complained about being banged about or the harse treatment it has received. It has been a good "lady bean". I have been thinking to myself what a clever boy is our Zach in making up an idea like a "lady bean".
Then
Rupert came home from school, he took one look at the "lady bean" and said to Zach "what a cool lady bean laser beam you've got". "laser beam!"
How daft am I "lady bean" indeed!
